Explosion Relief Panels

Non-rated, non-combustible painted interior showing tubular steel framed building and openings. Closed explosion relief panel shown.	Bottom hinged, resetable, magnetic released, shock absorbing, cable tethered, insulated (R-9), FM tested and approved 4´x8´ explosion relief panel.	Above top hinged panels are the only explosion-proof relief panels ever tested by FM. Haz-Safe Buildings version are bottom-hinged to force blast effects upward. [See Explosion Video]

Inside: Drop down shutter (gray box) fire rates explosion relief panel's opening when released by fusible link. Steel security screen resists intruder entry and prevents objects from being propelled out during explosion. Panels have a magnetic alarm contact connected to security alarm system.

Outside:Open bottom of left blast shaft allows rain and snow to pass through and shows closed explosion relief panel. Relief panel on right in open position fills bottom of shaft, forcing blast effects out open top of shaft, allowing building to be placed near other facilities. Shafts are blast rated.
